The Servestan Office Building was shaped around the challenge of designing within a pre-existing structural frame. The project sought to take advantage of the potential of the existing structure while creating a functional, bright, and contemporary workspace suited to the needs of a modern office environment.
In the design process, each office unit on the floors was carefully arranged to provide open and expansive views toward the north within the main working areas, while the private office rooms benefit from sufficient natural light from the southern side. This spatial organization creates a balanced working environment with both visual openness and comfortable daylight conditions throughout the building.
A key feature of the project is the stair box, which was opened toward the exterior and transformed into a semi-open and dynamic space. Rather than functioning only as a circulation element, the staircase became an extension of the architectural experience — introducing natural light, ventilation, and moments of interaction into the building. This intervention not only improves the spatial quality of the project but also acts as an urban breathing space within the dense city fabric, creating a stronger connection between the building and the public realm.
